I've had a few not great days this week & have felt that, especially recently, it's been extremely difficult living as an independent artist. I'm currently housesitting for an older couple in London who just returned from a long trip to Australia. Upon return, the 84-year-old man apologized for his "teeth" because on his trip a tooth chipped which made it difficult for his over-dentures to stay in place, and they kept falling out while he was speaking. Today, he went to the dentist to get the tooth fixed. It got me thinking that as hard as life has been recently, I still have all my teeth.
